Field definition and scope:

Field 764 contains an identification of a rule number that is used to build a number by applying a table.  Each unique rule number may be translated into a sequence of steps used by a system to calculate the number in classification schemes that have multiple rules for building specific classification numbers.

Field 764 is repeatable.
